Dependant Scholarships for Western Employees
There are a variety of scholarships available to Western employees whose dependant is studying at Western or other post-secondary institution.
This scholarship is available for spouses and dependent children of regular full-time continuing faculty and librarians and archivists holding probationary or continuing appointments.
Value:
- Undergraduate/Professional/Community College (full-time): $6,500
- Undergraduate/Professional/Community College (part-time): # of full courses x $1,300 and # of half courses x $650
- Graduate (full-time): $3,250 per term, $6,500 maximum
- Graduate (part-time): $1,625 per term, $3,250 maximum

Application deadline:

This scholarship is available for dependent children of current, regular full-time PMA eligible employees who are pursuing full-time studies (undergraduate or graduate) at Western or one of it's affiliates (Huron or King's).

- Graduate: $2,500

This scholarship is available for dependent children of current, continuing/sessional, UWOSA and SAGE employees who are pursuing full-time studies at Western or one of it's affiliates (Huron or King's).
Value:

This scholarship is available for dependent children of current, regular full-time Operating Engineers or Campus Police employees who are pursuing full-time studies at Western or one of it's affiliates (Huron or King's).

This scholarship is available for dependent children of current, Continuing/Sessional, CUPE 2962 employees who are pursuing full-time studies at Western or one of it's affiliates (Huron or King's).

This scholarship is available for dependent children of current regular full-time and sessional employees represented by CUPE 2361 who are pursuing full-time studies at Western or one of it's affiliates (Huron or King's).

Submitting an Application
Applications and all supporting documentation should be submitted using the secure online DocDrop.
You must use a .pdf file format to upload your documents. Please select the Employee Group Scholarships (Dependent Tuition Scholarship) document type when uploading your application. If the dependent is a student at Western, the dependent should upload the application themselves. Faculty, Librarian, and Archivist whose dependent is not attending Western should upload the documents using their employee user ID and password.
If you are in receipt of OSAP or are applying for OSAP, please do not report the tuition scholarship on your OSAP application, as our office will report it to OSAP on your behalf.
